Is it required to have ABAP knowledge to learn

EP?
And is it enough to have Advanced java knowledge to learn EP or we need to know J2EE also?

Job Scheduling question

Greetings to all,

I have tried posting this question on

different boards to try finding somebody that might have had an experience..

My company is currently looking for a

Jobscheduler. There are some on the market that we are evaluating, however quite expensive and require you to purchase

specific DB; are not integrated into SAP, etc.

Apart from other offers, we've come accross this German Jobscheduler

called BatchMan (www.honico.com) Anybody had any experience with them?

I am new to this SAP and EP also. Recently I started

learning EP, I have learned till navigation part. I need to learn PDK and Webdynpro. I know this much only about EP. I have 3

Years of Experience in Java/J2EE Technologies working in MNC. NOw i want to shift my Career to Enterprise Portal. Please

suggest me, can i survive in Enterrpse Portal side,without having the knowledge of SAP(Any products). Please guide how to

prepare the Enterprise Portal and for interview. If u can send me any interview questions, it will be highly
