The City of Tacoma‘s Information Technology Department is currently seeking a highly motivated
self-starter to provide system support for the SAP Work Management modules of the City-wide software system. The City of
Tacoma uses mySAP 4.7 Enterprise Resource Planning software, throughout the City for Human Resources, Work Management,
Financial Management and Customer Care and Services.
The Work Management Analyst partners with other SAP functional,
technical and City staff to identify and document the business requirements of the Departments. The person in this position
will perform complex, analytical work; assist technical and departmental staff by defining and documenting solutions; create
reports and training documents; and facilitate training. They will also have a key role in designing and executing tests for
all new developments as well as periodic system updates and upgrades.

simulation to allow the organization to input market information and demand, and cascade this demand down the value chain to
identify how and where resources needed to be drawn from, and to what extent the organization was required to restructure its
distribution. At the same time, the simulation allows management to explore with various strategic policies, like adding a
new mine, adding a new alloy plant, adding and/or changing the distribution lines, etc. The results of the simulation have
been very good, and it is today used across the organization within all the main segments of the value chain, as well as for
a top-level management view on the entire value chain.
Archive a Material Master Record

When a material is no longer
required in a company or plant, you can archive and delete the material master record.
You have to Flag the material
master record for deletion. This is known as logical deletion.
Before a material master record can be archived
and deleted, other objects (such as purchasing documents) that refer to this material must themselves be archived. You can
see which objects these are and the dependencies between them in the network graphic.
