IT at Nike is over 900 professionals working on the most advanced business applications and e-commerce capabilities in the industry. For instance, Nike Retail IT is in the process of implementing a completely new Global systems footprint, encompassing NSB, SAP Retail and SAS.
As our Retail Merchandise Operations Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll help deliver IT business solutions, at the right time, for the right processes and in the right way (Globally, Consistently, Efficiently, Reliably, and Responsibly), to enable optimal performance for Nike Retail. You’ll create and maintain a collaborative partnership with Retail IT engineering teams, Retail Business Units and 3rd party vendors that will enable you to resolve issues and define requirements for enhanced processes and systems. You’ll be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions with diverse accountabilities in a retail-specific environment. You’ll be responsible for performing system and data analysis; providing reporting and data mapping; creating context and process diagrams; documenting business requirements, functional specifications and business and system use cases; creating and executing comprehensive test plans; and working with business users to document user operating instructions. This opportunity involves influencing and communicating with business partners on the vision of our Retail systems at a strategic and tactical level.
Requirements for the position include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field
• 5 years’ experience in an IT environment
• 2 years’ additional experience in lieu of a degree
• 3 years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst role, leading requirements definition, design documentation, use case development and analysis of system behavior
• Experience with retail business processes/practices and retail application systems with an emphasis on merchandise operations is needed.
• Experience implementing Tier 1 Retail applications such as ERP solutions is preferred
• Experience with SAP Retail, SAP AFS or another Retail ERP system is needed.
• SAP configuration experience.
• Software Development Life Cycle methodologies experience is preferred
• Analytical, organization and communication skills, along with the ability to work with business partners, vendors and senior management
• Global experience supporting applications in the US, Europe/Africa, the America’s and/or the Asia Pacific region is a plus
