Senior ABAP Developer

Job Description

ABAP/4 developer to work within the SAP logistics modules developing and modifying code to manage the processes of shutdowns and turnarounds, daily scheduling, and capital projects. Knowledge of SAP PM and PS, and any other logistics modules i.e., MM, PP a plus. Knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera, Microsoft Project) helpful.

Need to be able to communicate with clients and define specific requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Developing applications

Required

- At least five years ABAP Design, Development, Reporting & Implementation experience in multiple projects
- Versed in Business process analysis and design
- Programmer/Analyst background a definite +
- Exposure in shutdown/turnaround environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
IT background in applications design & development, either mainframe or client-server

Desired:

- Proficiency in minimum of three (3) CORE R/3 Logistics modules
- Knowledge of Project System Module
- Knowledge of Primavera scheduling tool
- SAP Certified ABAP Developer
