SAP WW Development Manager (Direct Hire)

Overview
Our client is a global leader in semiconductors, and we are looking for an experienced SAP Worldwide Development Manager who will provide leadership and management of development activities globally.

Duties
•Manage the Worldwide SAP Development Team including resource, planning, hiring and staff development.
•Lead the development, implementation and support of all SAP development activities.
•Create and manage development processes and ABAP coding standards to ensure quality and consistency of development across the SAP landscape
•Develop, implement and support interfaces, conversions, enhancements, reports and forms using ABAP and other associated SAP tools.
•Conduct code reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to coding standards and best practices
•Provide and validate development estimates for work tasks and/or entire projects
•Actively collaborate with other team members, client, Project Management Office (PMO) and Architects

Position Skills Requirements
•Knowledge of ABAP, Workflow, IDOC/ALE, BSPs, webDynpro and XI
•Ability to lead a mixed internal/outsourced team
•Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross functionally across all levels of the organization, both internally to other IT groups and with business sponsors and users.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills

•Project management experience
•Experience working in a global organization
•Superior oral and written communication skills
•Ability to organize multiple assignments
•Knowledge or experience with Cobol, .NET, Java, HTML considered extremely beneficial

Minimum Years of Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years IT experience, including at least 5 plus years managing SAP development resources within multiple implementation projects.

Education Requirements
Computer Science or related field degree.
SAP Certification beneficial but not essential
