These are some of the tips for a regular traveller that most
of us SAP folks are! I will keep on adding to these - it is not an exhaustive list.. its a live document.
Of course,
these are from the perspective of a GUY - some ladies might want to give their perspective also of similar tips for
travelling women.
1. Carry only your boarding pass, wallet and cell phone in your pockets. Empty out the rest of the
stuff in your laptop bag pocket.
2. Always designate ONE pocket for emptying the stuff at the airport.
3.
Unsuspecting things that create a problem (beeping if in your pockets) - little pennies or chewing gum aluminium
wrappers.
4. Check in online earlier - your chances of an upgrade are higher
5. Preferably have two outer pockets to
your laptops - One, for emptying stuff from pockets (coins, pens etc) and other to carry things that you would need to use
during the flight - headphones, iPod (or CD player), books and magazines to read.
6. Wear comfortable shoes without laces
- easy to put on and easy to take off.
7. MAKE SURE you take your belt off before you get in the security check! Its the
easiest thing to miss.
